Ceramic works created by our artists, during the ArtISability Program arrived safely back at headquarters yesterday.  We hope our artists will be proud of their work once their delivered.   

If you are a visual artist living with disabilities or mental illness in Southeast Queensland and work like to further develop you skills or develop a more professional approach to your artwork, then contact ArtISability to explore ways we can assist you to overcome barriers the result from your disability or illness.  We are keen to provide support to enable artists to develop their artistic skills. 

Writing the pages of history

For our artists to continue on their professional development journeys and others who may join our program in the future we want to subsides the cost of their transport, so we can remove one more barrier in their journey to deliver the artwork to the loading docks of the art galleries of the world.

So we are selling ArtISability Pens to enable our artists to continue to write their own journeys into the history books.

If you would like to support us by selling our pens, call Debbie on 3281 3218 to arrange a box to be delivered to your workplace or home. Our pens come in a pack of 10 and $2 from each pen helps assist our artists with transport. 

Community Links

Skills development is only one

of the objectives of the ArtISability Program.

Our desire is to see our visual artists out in the community achieving the goals they have set themselves, such as exhibiting their work, entering art competitions and developing their own websites.

On Sunday 6th April our artists had their first art display at The Queensland Cup Ruby League game at North Ipswich Reserves.  ArtISability very much encourages our artists to become part of the Ipswich arts community and beyond.
