Invitation For Expression of Interests

From Ipswich Artists and Art Teachers

Dates: 15^th to 19^th September 2014 (Disability Action Week)

Times: 10 am to 2pm daily

Venues in Ipswich City Council Region

We are giving artists with a disability an opportunity to experience what ArtISability may look like if they were to attend. We will be offering on free art workshop each day, from 10am to 12 noon.  These workshops will be part of an art exhibition produced by ArtISability including an art competition for artists with a disability and mental illness. I am applying for funding to host this activity during Disability Action Week. As part of your role you will be asked to assist with judging our art competition.  In return you may exhibition your own work and no commissions on sales will be charged.

Expressions of Interest must include:

·       Dates  you are available

·       A 2 hour workshop for up to 5 people proposal. Please outline discipline, mediums and techniques together with any foreseeable out come.  For example two hour jewellery making workshop using beading, at the completion of the workshop participants will have made a necklace.  

·       Fee 4 service, including travel costs

·       List of supplies or costs of supplies

·       Equipment you need us to supply

·       If access to power and water is needed

·       A copy of CV; photos for your work; ABN and copy of you public liability insurance certificate (If you don’t have an ABN or Insurance that’s ok.)

Applications close Friday 13^th June at 5pm.  (Post mark by Friday 13^th 5pm, however electronic copies are preferred.)
